Jones Sports Group (JSG) is a boutique, founder-led hockey representation and management agency based in Upstate New York. We work in two ways: the Pro Division represents professional athletes, and Family Advising works with young players and the families behind them. Our services are personal development plans, development camp placement, contract negotiation, NIL marketing, draft preparation, off-ice resources and family advising.
A hockey agent represents a professional player, negotiating contracts with teams and managing the business side of a career. A family advisor works with a younger player and their family before that point, helping them make informed decisions about development, camps, junior, college and the steps in between. JSG does both: Pro Division representation for professional athletes, and Family Advising for families.
We work across NHL, AHL, ECHL, PWHL, NCAA, OHL, WHL, QMJHL, Junior A, Junior AAA and Prep school hockey, with athletes and families in United States and Canada.
Yes. JSG is PWHL certified on the women’s side, our team includes an Associate Director of Player Development for women’s hockey and a family advisor for women’s hockey, and the athletes we represent include NCAA players at Northeastern, Bemidji State, Quinnipiac and RIT.
Our founder and CEO, Bryan Jones, is PWHL certified, and our Director of Men’s Pro Hockey, Luc Marotte, is PHPA certified (Professional Hockey Players’ Association).
The JSG Collective is how we represent our athletes away from the rink: name, image and likeness (NIL), marketing partnerships, and the brand work that sits behind both. Brands and partners who want to work with one of our athletes can contact us directly.
